Technical Training & Development Program

Building Practical Skills and Professional Discipline in Oslob, Cebu

The Philippine PU Technology & Development Inc. training program provides a structured, hands-on education for local workers in the fields of TIG welding, PU foam insulation, and modular container construction.
The course runs for
six months and combines both theoretical instruction and practical application under real project conditions.

During the first three months, trainees learn the fundamentals — safety, tool handling, welding, insulation, drywall installation, and electrical preparation.
In the following three months, each participant specializes in their strongest area, working toward
certification as a qualified technician.

All participants are officially registered and insured under SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.
Training is conducted according to
European quality standards, emphasizing accuracy, cleanliness, and responsibility.
Upon completion, graduates receive a
Certificate of Technical Competence, enabling them to work in industrial, construction, or insulation fields across the Philippines and abroad.

PU Foam Insulation Training

Precision. Safety. Efficiency.

Our PU Foam Insulation Training is designed to teach the full process of modern polyurethane foam application — from equipment setup to high-quality thermal insulation results.
Trainees learn how to operate professional spray systems, maintain correct temperature and pressure, and ensure even foam density across all surfaces.

The course covers:

  • Machine operation and maintenance (mixing units, hoses, spray guns)
  • Surface preparation and correct substrate cleaning
  • Material handling – temperature control, ratio accuracy, storage
  • Spraying techniques for roofs, walls, and container interiors
  • Safety procedures for handling isocyanates and chemicals
  • Quality inspection – foam adhesion, density tests, and finishing

Training is entirely practical and supervised by an experienced technical instructor.
Each participant learns to perform complete insulation work independently, following European safety and quality standards.

Graduates receive a PU Foam Application Certificate, confirming competence in professional insulation work — valuable for employment in construction, roofing, and industrial maintenance.

Modular Housing Construction Training

Complete Skills for Modern, Efficient Building Systems

The Modular Housing Training provides a comprehensive, hands-on education covering all essential areas of container and modular house construction.
This program combines practical training in
structural assembly, plumbing, electrical installation, and drywall finishing, enabling trainees to understand and execute every step of a complete housing unit build.

Trainees learn:

  • Steel structure assembly – welding, framing, alignment, and sealing
  • Plumbing basics – water supply, drainage, and fitting installation
  • Electrical system preparation – conduits, sockets, breaker setup, labeling
  • Drywall and interior finishing – wall framing, panel fitting, jointing, sanding, and painting
  • Flooring and insulation integration – ensuring full thermal and moisture protection

This module is the most complete of all technical programs, designed to simulate real construction environments and teach efficiency, quality, and coordination between trades.
Upon completion, trainees can independently participate in the assembly of
modular container homes built to European standards, combining strength, comfort, and sustainability.

Graduates receive a Certificate in Modular Housing Construction, qualifying them for work in modern building projects across the Philippines and abroad.

TIG/WIG Welding & Fitting Training

Precision, Control, and Structural Integrity

Our TIG/WIG Welding & Fitting Training teaches precision welding and professional metal fabrication to meet international industrial standards.
Trainees begin with the fundamentals of gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) and progress toward the assembly and alignment of complex steel structures.

The program covers:

  • Material preparation and measurement – cutting, beveling, and marking of stainless and carbon steels
  • Welding setup and parameters – gas flow, amperage control, filler selection
  • Welding techniques – root pass, fill, and cap in multiple positions (1G–6G)
  • Joint preparation and tack welding – accuracy, gap control, and distortion prevention
  • Fitting and alignment – reading drawings, measuring tolerances, and checking dimensions
  • Grinding and finishing – surface treatment and inspection for defects
  • Safety and equipment maintenance – PPE use, gas handling, and torch care

Each trainee practices under real workshop conditions using industrial-grade TIG welding machines and materials identical to those used in European fabrication facilities.
Special attention is given to discipline, precision, and quality control, forming the foundation for safe and durable work in container construction, pipe fitting, and
high-standard metal fabrication.

Upon successful completion, trainees receive a Certificate of TIG Welding & Fitting, qualifying them for employment in manufacturing, construction, and industrial maintenance sectors.

Evaluation and Certification

Structured Assessment – Real Skills, Real Standards

All training programs at Philippine PU Technology & Development Inc. follow a structured evaluation system to ensure that every trainee meets the required technical and safety standards before certification.

Each participant is assessed continuously through practical performance, discipline, and attendance, with formal evaluations at the end of each phase.
The grading system is based on measurable criteria such as:

  • Technical quality (accuracy of welds, insulation uniformity, or installation precision)
  • Safety compliance and tool handling
  • Work discipline and time management
  • Teamwork and communication
  • Documentation and cleanliness of workspace

Scores are recorded weekly by the technical instructor and administrative supervisor.
Final results determine the trainee’s overall rating and certificate level.

At the end of the six-month training cycle, each participant undergoes a final evaluation and interview, where both practical skills and theoretical understanding are tested.
Graduates who meet the standards receive a
Certificate of Completion, while top-performing trainees are awarded a Certificate of Excellence with individual grades (A–E scale).

These certificates are recognized by local industries and document the trainee’s competence in TIG/WIG welding, PU foam insulation, and modular housing construction, in line with European technical standards.
